System Integration Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
- Take charge of the integration and associated project management of the company’s marine electric-propulsion systems.
- Handle technical and drawing communication, coordination and approval among suppliers, customers and classification societies.
- Prepare documents for plan approval, certification, working records and final delivery (as-built documentation).
- Participate in drafting technical specifications and test procedures for the company’s electric-propulsion / new-energy power systems.
- Lead on-site commissioning, testing and hand-over of company system-integration projects.
Requirements:
- Strong communication & coordination skills and proven project-management ability.
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience in one or more of the following: diesel engines, electric motors, generators, lithium batteries, switchboards, propulsors, automation systems, remote-control systems, transmission systems.
- Prior experience in marine on-board commissioning or marine-project design is preferred.
- Proven track record in managing relatively complex marine or non-marine projects is preferred.
- Proficient in Visio, AutoCAD and similar software.
- Able to read English technical documentation.
